TWO FOR £10...BETTER TOGETHER WITH UKIP

Just so as you are absolutely clear about this, it is NOT a photograph of the Liberal's Danny Alexander campaigning at a Better Together stall with Ukip's MEP, David Cockburn.

I know this for a fact because Better Together said that on no account ever would they have anything to do with Ukip.

Jim Murphy repeated that only a couple of weeks ago when, on his 100 High Streets tour, he was accused of being in bed with fascists.

So it must be true.

I'd also like to point out that "2 for £10" applied to t-shirts not the public servants. I mean seriously, who'd give a tenner for these two?

Someone over on Twitter commented that he would have liked to say that this was the point at which Danny Alexander lost all credibility... but then, you know...

Just as an aside, does anyone know if Cockburn has moved to this country yet or does he still live in London?

PS: Just found one of his tweets:

  1. No takers I would expect. Far too expensive for what you are getting.

  2. 2 for a tenner, I go with Marcia. David Coburn and Danny Alexander, I mean what could you do with them. Don't know much about David but Danny is unemployable.

    1. Ha ha... He's maybe read that the UKip guy in Clacton has joined the Liberals... perhaps he's trying to go the other way.

Certainly don't think he's going to benefit from the massive pay rise they are going to get in May.

  4. That Coburns a nasty piece of work, I hope all who voted for him are proud. As for beaker, don't think he'll work again; not that he's actually worked in his life.

    1. I don't know anything about Cockburn, JnA.

He's in Ukip. That's more or less what I need to know.

I definitely think Danny is finished though.

      He'll go to the Lords.

    3. Doubt he'd do that well, although Osborn may have taught him all he knows!

    4. After we vote Yes there will be no more Scottish Lords, they have said they won't throw the existing ones out, but there will be no new ones.
Why do you think this stinking bunch are fighting so hard for a no vote, it's certainly not to save the union, it's to save their jobs and the chance of a peerage.

    5. If I were English, Welsh or Irish I'd be asking that Lords for Scotland be disallowed from sitting in parliament of a foreign country. I doubt it will happen, but it seems (if it'#s possible) even MORE undemocratic.

I doubt it will happen given that Irish peers were allowed to go on sitting.

And we all know that democracy and the Uk are hardly bedfellows and the Nobs, can get away with anything.

  5. Hmm, Coburn and Alexander talking together, obviously they were discussing the setting up of the Liberally Democratic UKIP party, that's the LIDUKIP party by the way, AFTER we win on the 19th. LOL

    2. Don't worry Tris, he didn't say much although I did learn one new thing. Apparently Scottish independence is for ever and there is no going back. Well that's finally sold me Darling. I now know exactly how I'm going to vote thanks for your input.

I'm voting NAW ... to NAW! LOL

    3. Why does he keep saying this. Did anyone ever suggest it was a 3 week thing?

He really was Yes's dream candidate for being in charge of No.

A public school educated Tory lookalike, stinking rich, who was in charge of the economy when it fell down the well and the banks started hemorrhaging, and blessed with with the dynamism of a dead parrot.

    1. They may be Bruce, but you'd think that they would try to keep up the pretense of being diametrically opposed to one another.

Given that Jim Murphy only last week said that BT had nothing to do with UKIP, you'd have thought even someone as dim as Dan would have steered clear of him.

But there was the Ukipper, campaigning under the BT banner.

So the next time they tell you that they aren't in bed with swivel eyed loonie racists... you'll know that it is YET another lie.

  11. Poor Danny Alexander. He must realise by now he's been taken for a mug. The person he reminds me most of is Big John from the Inbetweeners at the front door trying to get into the 18th birthday party, and only allowed in to make up the numbers.

    1. He's been used mercilessly. Osborne may not be the brightest lamp but one thing these rich privileged English public school boys know is how to use their inferiors.

That inferior has been well and truly used.

  12. The last Irish peer, Francis Needham, 4th Earl of Kilmorey, died in 1961. Who do you think the last Scottish one will be? My money is on Baron Danny Alexander of Cairngorm Funicular, elevated for services to his adopted country, hanging around Westminster until the 2050s.

  13. Actually now I think about it... the likes of Danny and Alistair etc may *not* be rewarded in the event of independence... so in that case, my best guess is Jeremy, Baron Purvis of Tweed, who is already ennobled.

I'm wondering about Baron Darling, who has got one nailed because he was a Finance minister, albeit a disastrous one.
