  2. It's POETS day no not POETS (P*** Off Early Tomorrow is Saturday) I said POETS (P*** Off Early Tomorrow is Sunday!) day. LOL

If that is too hard to figure out, and I can understand why, then let's just rename Sunday AWEDAY!

  3. I agree with Arbroath, shock and awe day, lovely. Beautiful pictures to refresh the heart and remind us that new life deserves to be cherished. I could have done without the insect life, not over fond, we have a very big lady spider about to be turfed out of the compost heap and I can bet where she is going to turn up. I will not kill her, but her won't be sheltering indoors if I have any say in it.
Oh and I know I am a woose, but I am a women.

    1. I think it makes a welcome break from a week of politics with all that entails.

I can understand about spiders and insects (although that Panda Ant is something else, don't you think), but I'm the kid of lad that feeds the mice, and rescues moths and won;t kill a wasp, even though a sting from one would put me in hospital.

They've as much right to be here as me and really they don't do any harm. Id think the compost heap is a good place from your spider. There is a natural warmth there.

    2. Oh I do agree every thing has a job to do, man seems to be the odd one out. I just met a lovely young lurcher who looked like he belonged in Egypt. Strangely enough though Hektor has more wolf in him than many of the breeds who look like wolfs, simply because they are such an old breed, you want to hear Pugs howl.
Wasps are really good at stinging, my poor Husband got multiple stings from a nest that my Mum had in a rug she had put in her shed and wanted shifting. Fortunately unlike your good self he is not allergic.

    3. I'm off to hospital if I get stung, so as I say, if I had a wasp nest I'd just have to call in the Wasp Busters, but it would be with sadness.

  4. I love baby elephants. And if I don't stop putting on weight, I'll become one! The fox mother has her hands full though. Lovely pictures and like Helena I'll not have spiders roaming about the house. Tris however puts me to shame. I had FIVE wasp nests last year and got the pest controller out. Guess my conversion to Buddhism will have to wait a while.

  5. I have actually held a baby panda in my arms and fed him some apple. They use the pads like a rudimentary hand and then feed themselves.

It was in the Chengdu Research Centre and the panda had been hand reared as it was orphaned.

They feel, their fur anyway, like a wire haired fox terrier and inside that puffed up shape they are quite skinny, certainly when they are young.

    1. Lucky you. What a thrilling experience to hold a wee panda.

I suspect they get a bit less skinny as they get older though. They would be more likely to hold you.

Even your lovey dovey pics of likkle baby things can not stem the fear
we all feel after watching Alexs interview on Andy Mars bbc show.
the absolute mind numbing terror inducing fear of the snp ruling
by proxy the UK through their Labour party puppets....

Perhaps if she wishes to keep the United Kingdom whole
and safe she should offer her resignation and retire into ignominy

Mrs Soubry... yeah. She's something else.
